I’m one of those people. I mean rape is highly unnecessary and I really hope it won’t happen, but I don’t like story with just fluff in it. Drama is interesting, just not that kind of drama that just makes me mad
I get that. I would probably have a hard time continuing reading this if he really got raped but I'm still saying that it's a matter of preference. Some people like their drama in a specific, not intrusive way and some just don't really care as long there's drama. Some people would get mad if it is to happen but they would still stay and some would leave.

Yeah totally. And some don’t like drama at all and are only for a fluff and that’s all totally okay. Yeah I just like drama, I don’t care what it is tbh (tho I prefer it is at least logical). If he actually gets raped tho I will have hard time reading it, let alone gang raped
