AGREED. the dynamic between the two is so great, despite reynold's past actions he still treats penelope like his own sibling and i love it

EXACTLY. like unlike a certain someone, reynold actually admits to his wrongdoings in the past and try his best to understand penelope's behavior towards them
that's understandable seeing as how in the manga, it doesn't really show how he's better than derrick. but compared to derrick who is just a selfish bastard trying to justify the way he treats penelope like shit until the end, reynold is trying his best to be at least treat penelope better even though it might not be enough from how he treated her so far
huhuuu....i still hate him...i cried a lot while reading it...especially the scene at the attic...I'm so soft.....i pity the mc a lot...

btw those hating on reynold trust me he's so MUCH better compared to derrick like, in a whole lot of things. if you read the novel, you can see that reynold, while he might be a little bit slow but he back up penelope at the end of the day and try to understand from her pov even though he made mistakes in the past. they're like, the cutest siblings ever (≧∀≦) derrick could die with yvonne for all i care i swear that guy's an asshole even during his dying's breath ugh
