if i remember correctly (from the novel) Navier hid in a compartment in the seats (? idk if it was seats or not) but essentially it was a small space she was able to get in and hide from the guards. (either i remember correctly or my mind made this all up ;-; )

Oh, okay. So, my thought process was completely wrong then.
So. What I've gathered from this is that Navier disguised as Heinley to escape and Heinley transformed into a bird to escape. I think that would be a correct conclusion to their plan, right? ╮(￣▽￣)╭
