It's not wrong to want to help save the lives of those who are in need. Not many doctors take their jobs seriously and mainly do it for the money if anything and this is just showing the passion of someone becoming a doctor.
Sure, he's not very rational or gets in dangerous situations, but doctors aren't supposed to have it easy anyways. Saving people is not something to mess around with; the slightest second is precious. People have families no matter if the person is bad or anything.
