I totally agree!
I keep seeing many comments saying ‘just talk to each other!!’ and yeah, they would, if it was that easy.
I genuinely think this story is more on the realistic side considering the plot, the misunderstandings, the confusion and frustration the characters are feeling. I also believe that they also need to be separate for now in order to sort out their feelings, get closure with the ex (and in general confront their past) in order to heal and move forward. As they are now they could be together, sure, but wouldn’t be 100% happy.

exactly! speaking out is not an easy thing to do esp if you're type of person who had problems with communication. it's easy to say but not easy to act. i fell in love with this story because i found myself getting worked up with all the things happening here.
i agree with them needing to be separate, while time may not heal everything but it's needed to have them take their time to prioritize what they need or want - they can't just force things for now. only if they're done with the whole past dispute will they finally be able to take care of the present things.
i've said this before but this story is quite realistic with the way they show the issues about communication among the characters. it's something that we can see in our everyday life - not everyone have the courage to voice their opinion and not everyone have the patience to deal with people evenly. the lack of communication and misunderstanding around them are ehat makes them humans. those decisions that may comes out stupid are realistic because at the end of the day, everyone's gonna make stupid decisions and yeah i'm sad again
