IRL Anubis is God of death, mummification, funeral rites. It’s associated with Osiris role in this story as ruler of the underworld so my thinking is he might become the antagonist here.

I don’t like how Anubis is going but we know what he is the god of so *sigh. Seth really is beautiful. Now it feels like a BL setup.
