I also agree, imagine ur child growing without u or the mother who gave birth. It may sound selfish but it is actually logical, considering the childhood that the child would gone thru. Imagine the teacher says, "Bring your mothers during mother's day." but u have no one to bring.（/TДT)/
Bringing the father instead could also work but that's a different thing. Also filling the family tree activity in school is hard, but it depends on the person
Yeah. I lost my mother young and on mother's day, I cried in front of the audience at school because she wasn't there. My dad struggles. We all do pretty much. There are so many things that mothers do that fathers can't. I hope to have a complete family when I am older!ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

That's selfish but so true. If the mother of a baby dies then the father will grieve, the child will grieve, and happiness will be hard to come by. They can have more babies but the mother is one of a kind.
