i mean the novel is finished so i doubt they're gonna chnge the ending for the manga. i do agree however. it was even said in the normal ending that Eclise was the most reluctant to blame Penelope as he served under her and understood her better than anyone else. why would HE of all peoppe betray Penelope in this timeline? it just seems out of nowhere.
Eclise love for pene became an obsession (just like the brother with the black hair, forgot his name) I think in eclise pov if he wont get pene then no one else will or should? idk im half away through
he doesn't disappear. he has amnesia and he stalks penelope for like 3 years but she ends up telling him to go back to where his original empire/home was bc he'll find the answers to his questions there.
I really don't get why ppl baby eclise so much. His feelings for penelope are the same type that derrick has but for some reason it's okay for eclise to do the things he did (i.e. kidnap her, try to kill callisto, try to kill everyone, & etc.). Derrick became so obsessed with her (sexually/romantically) that he abused her, tried to keep her for himself, and refused to let her call him oppa/brother. I don't think eclise deserves to be hurt but def doesn't deserve to be with her bc his feelings for her weren't right. plus he's not even the second male lead. he's the secondary antagonist.

im still sad when i heard that eclise will betray penelope and will end up disappearing at the end. idk dude. the fact that she's rooting for eclise so much but he'll actually end up betraying her... hhh i hope they change the ending... i rlly wanna see penelope end up with eclise ngl...
