Yeah that “woman role” really pissed me off like they are both men, there’s no woman’s role. Or when the questioning mc is never bi or pan even though they were also attracted to women and when they ultimately Identify as gay they are only gay for their love interest.
I think most of yaoi mangakas don't know about lgbtq+ well and they don't even research. They learn everything from other yaoi series.
I really don't like how authors act as if bisexuality or pansexuality doesn't exist.. like you have a MC that is literally GAY. Atleast take your QUEER character and teach the "straight" mc other queer identities or something! This or how the other gay man went along with the "woman part" bs.. like no. That's really the only things that irked me a little, other than that I think it's pretty good.
