It's alright tho, honestly I usually compare myself to people who had it worse so I wasn't really sure this kind of thing was serious enough to complain about. It's not actually abuse like Ilyan's dad, but I'm honestly relieved that someone recognizes that it's still not ok
Even if some people seem to have it worse, you still went through something difficult so there's no need to compare. As long as it elicited emotions for you, it is serious enough.

This is too real. My dad was featured in a parenting magazine were he and his wife gave parenting advice and showed their perfect family.
The catch is my dad left my family while my mom was pregnant. He left another family too. He was never much of a dad to us. And then he shows the world how perfect of a dad he is to his new children, while not even mentioning he has other kids.
There's something so fucking sad and frustrating about seeing that they're able to be a decent parent, but some of the children are just apparently not worth enough to give a damn
