Yes but not that much i mean he started to be toxic more after whats happened to him and suha, plus i don't think suha can understand that he's trying to keep him as his, protect him and i can tell suha could run away from him one day
People r saying he's suddenly gone from caring to super toxic but I recently reread the whole thing and i believe it hints at him being possessive/obsessive right from the very beginning. He refers to Suha as "mine" numerous times and (similar to the other 100% toxic semes) treats Suha as a possession that he stubbornly doesn't want to share with others. There's a bunch of other stuff too cba to list it all rn
