I don't think anyone hates her though? She's AMAZING. Very jaded though. but after all she's gone through, that's a given.

I genuinely do not hate the FL or anything like that. I genuinely get her
She moves logically and everything she does needs to make logical sense to her. It's like she closed off her emotional side in favor for being logical and she is comfortable (so far) with the result
She came into the Dukes place under a contract marriage and is doing her part as the Duchess as well as looking for a cure for the Duke and everything else in the stead of her sister who was to be there instead
She knows the contract will end
She knows that soon all will pass.
She should genuinely move past her severe trauma of her past for HERSELF and her own joy.
Meanwhile the Duke having feelings for the FL, and is all over the place about them, trying to get some leverage from her (tell me your weakness because you know mine??) and when she refuses and makes a clear boundary that he doesn't respect then now it's a problem?????
He also has some stuff to work through on his own cause this approach he is going with is really not it.
