chill out, they can feel whatever they want, they r sad, let them be, why forcing them to like the ending !! they were devoted fans just like u and they r free to feel unsatisfied, it is ok to feel whatever u want -_- it is really ugly to want them to act the way u act. if they r disappointed it is their choice, Isayama himself knew there will be some reactions like this and he is fully accepting it, people r just attached to the characters, no one wants his best character to die duh, and yes there was an emptiness in the ending though I see it as a perfect ending, and yeees we r all sad about IREN so CHILL OUT u r not ISAYAMA's ADVOCATE. forcing ur feeling and wanting them to act like u is disgusting, but in their case, it is normal bcz they r his manga's fans and he is the author, he completely understand that some sensitive people who grow attached won't accept it and he is totally FINE with it so mind ur business it is between author and fans not fans and other fans that want all the fans to feel the same way as them

Yes, I totally agree!! It's sad how people will bash and threaten an author just because they don't like an ending. Anyways, in a world like Aot, it's more fitting to have a bittersweet end.
With the inclusion of these pages, I think it was a beautiful and realistic ending. You know why?
1. The curse doesn't exist anymore (presumably from what I see in the pages) so Eren's sacrifice was not in vain. He died a meaningful death
2. Mikasa moved on with her life, she opened up her heart to someone who fully knows that she will love Eren for the rest of her life. She had children and grandchildren while never forgetting to visit Eren's grave. She lived a whole life and died of old age.
3. Isayama kept it extremely realistic where he showed that humans overtime will do assholic stuff filled with greed and selfishness in them which will lead to troubles and wars causing destruction around them.
So yes, this is the best ending this manga could have given.
For those who want some fluffy ass ending where it is an "AND EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER" bullshit, there are plenty of mediocre mangas that have them. So scoot your ass off Isayama and his manga and stop whining like little bitches. It's unsightly.
His story, his ending. No one forced you to read it. Isayama has always done the unexpected since the beginning so why y'all giving that surprised pikachu reaction.
