It's not the first time the uke wanted to die, it's indeed guilt trip but more like one of his behaviors + he ain't even affected or cared if he die so the guilt trip didn't even work. Also, basically you're saying the uke giving money is a bad thing? Do you even consider his revenge plan, do you even think it's even a proper plan that can cause serious issue? He doesn't even make deal and make the seme do things for him. Meanwhile, the seme can't even thanks him properly, just a mere text message for saving his mom's health?
Does the seme's sympathy? Yes, he does, his life is screwed by his dad. Whatever the debt, the pressure on him are never his fault. However, he has serious ego issues. As I read the raws, he looks like he has become loose and less self-aware and is leaning towards doing stupid things.

He DID NOT guilt trip the seme into dating him. Everyone is hating the seme because he is a misogynistic prick licking toxic masculinity in his poor masculine corner. The whole ordeal with Kangjin about his family, Kangjin wasn’t trying to interfere in his family matters. He was trying to help. Kangjin wasn’t at fault but got directed at those harsh words. The seme threw some empty promises and one blow to his stupid masculinity and he runs away.

Also, I don't hate the seme. I do see his struggle n problems. Both characters have flaws. However, I just don't think they should get back together for ppl who want them to get back together. That's my main argument of why I pointed out his problems
I truly hope they can move on, achieve their life goal (seme: paying all debt, finally be freed from pressure and responsibility n get to see his family be happier, uke: gets someone who loves him and can help him be more confident in himself).
The seme does care about the uke dying he wouldn't have saved him or dated him otherwise. He knew that, in the instance where they were breaking up, that he wouldn't. He would have never wanted his death on his conscious plus all his baggage.
The fact that he gave him money to 'apologize' when he's really trying to ruin his life knowing he needs it is shady ASF. I get that the not saying thank you thing cause he really should thank him better than that but he has no reason to say anything about his mother cause frankly it's not the uke's business. They were kids, do you think "love" is really that common at their age? Ppl can say or call love easily but is it truly love? You really think they were in love? Have you ever met someone who said they love you but never admit their ego issues and always hold on to it even when they don't care if it hurt you? Looking back, the only one who was obsessed was the uke, but he's closer to love than the seme.

I see your point on the pride thing and I'm glad he's bettering himself but I'm 100% sure he would have beat himself up if the uke died that day because he didn't have bad intentions for him he just didn't want to open up.
