idk what it is abt Fan but hes so suspicious. i felt like hes the killer but maybe ur right about him being the demon lord in disguise
At the start I was thinking he may have been the killer as well, but in the crowd she had heard someone say “why is she still alive?” and at that point Fan already knew she had survived. That’s pretty much my only reason for not suspecting him anymore. I feel like the author is making him suspicious on purpose to throw us off, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he acts even more suspicious in the future before a grand reveal that he was the good guy all along or something.
I kinda think the ex slave Fan might be the demon lord in disguise? Like, they both have a similar personality and the demon lord said that neither the mist nor the child he presented as were his true form. Also the fairy said that the demon lord might take the soul and make it into his lover (either that or eat it lol) and the demon lord did seem quite attached to her soul.... I’m not dead set on this theory but I’m going to throw it out here just in case.
