Tbh I think the parents’ relationship moved way too fast. So I think you’re right. They’re not actually “in love” in the traditional sense. The dad will for sure understand!
I think they shouldnt give a fuck about it, they should continue dating each other. Let his mom adjust becoz back when she left the other two kids she didn't give a fuck. What's her kid's business is ain't her business anymore. As for the father he should just give his blessings too they aren't related anyway.
