Y’all really out here fighting with the author for their choices. Authors have every right to say what they said especially when their work is being illegally translated on websites. If they don’t want to let their work be translated then they don’t have to.
Not to mention we don’t even know if the author is getting paid for their work or not. So on top of making comics for (probably) free they have to pay for a translator so overseas readers can read their work.
Y’all are getting too comfortable on an ILLEGAL site to be arguing with the author for not wanting their work to be illegally translated especially when the translators are being thank not them. It’s frankly unfair. I’m not an author or artist but I understand where they’re coming from. If my work was being illegally translated or people using my drawings without my permission i would be pissed. Put yourself in their shoes and think about it. Would you really allow your work to be illegal translated/or people using your drawings and you’re not getting paid for it or they didn’t asked?
Some of y’all really act entitled and it’s disgusting seeing the comments on here and Twitter of people really making excuses for their actions and trying to justify illegal translations. Like listen I understand hell i love reading on here too but when you’re caught then your caught. You can’t justify it. We all knew what we was getting into when we decided to read on an illegal site and we either get caught or not but when you do get caught then you just have to take the L and move on to a new story. Not fight with the author and make them seem like the bad guy/girl. That’s just sad and a very disgusting entailed behavior.
Let it GOOOOOO. The author made their point and they don’t want it translated just move on to a new story and respect their decision.
