AGREED. I'm having a hard time deciding which original timeline ML is worse. Both were tools used to ruin MCs' lives. And they did it for petty AF reasons. Greed in this story, jealousy in AE.
(Yeah ML was drugged in AE when he decided to KILL her and her dad, but he WANTED to hate her and make her life suck since they were kids.)
At least in this story, ML got to suffer what MC did and is now dedicated to protecting her. That's giving him major bonus points.
