There are title exclusive bonus coins and weekly bonus coins. Both expire after a week. You can collect weekly bonus coins on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Title exclusive bonus coins are random. They usually give you 2 title exclusive bonus coins, so you would still need one extra (either purchased or the weekly bonus coin) to buy one chapter, since each chapter costs 3 coins. Actually, I think title exclusive bonus coins expire after a few days? I have to double check that, but the weekly ones expire after a week and can be used on any story.
