You can express your solution through venn diagram approach.
Let say:
n(A)= attendees are friends of the bride
n(B)= attendees are friends of groom
n(AUB)= total number of attendees (A union of B)
Find n(AnB) =? (A intersection of B which is the attendees from both bride and groom)
Solution:
n(AUB)= n(A) + n(B) - n(AnB)
500 = 380 + 330 - n(AnB)
n(AnB) = 710 - 500
n(AnB) = 210
It's just my opinion but you can use this for detailed solution. I hope this helps :)
