I get what you’re saying but isn’t she manipulating her stepmother and stepsister into thinking that she’s completely vulnerable “to lessen their guard”. I think with that we can say she’s capable of plotting revenge (which she is doing)... I was just genuinely curious on why she can't take advantage of her title “duke’s only biological daughter” in her plot ^^
Yeah shes using it to her advantage like earlier. But the real rian didn't know such a thing chould get her out the abuse, she doesn't know she chould use that to her advantage, they prob dont even let her read books... she was a complete naive person

That's the difference between past rian to present rian. Past rian had no means of knowing the power of her title with the constant abuse and manipulation, while present rian can be seen picking the privilege of a distinguish noble daughter to a mere commoner, hence using it.
