Basically it was like a plot twist. The white haired guy wasn't actually shavonne's friend. He was only pretending to be while watching shavonne's mental state (why we don't know yet). It was revealed that over 8 years the white haired guy paid shavonne's lovers to monitor and report back to him too. I'm guessing the white haired guy is a medical person or something cause he called shavonne a 'patient'
