Thank you for the last line. So many people in this comment section are saying just take the money, and that the uke is stupid for being so prideful. But sometimes when you dont have much, pride is really important and I don’t see that as a bad thing
Yeah honestly dignity/pride are the only things which keep a lot of people from feeling like they hit rock bottom
bruh i'm with the uke on this one. it's so humiliating feeling like someone toyed around with you, keeping you in the dark about the truth which they knew all along. Also accepting huge amounts of money just in general feels hella degrading too - it also makes it feel like they have so much power/control over you.
