tw// manipulation, break-ups, rape, sexual assault, and trauma from rape

i will use r*pe for rape in this. if this triggers you please do not read. thank you and stay safe <33

hm... yuma is... i honestly have no words for his actions. i'm glad that he hugged makoto when he started crying... but just walking out saying "i don't want to see you for awhile" (i have had this said to me and now this person and i have no relationship together) it's just like a break-up. and just after makoto had been r*ped too? go to another room, or even the bathroom to cool off for a second and come back. it was the right choice to leave in the moment because you can obviously tell yuma doesn't want to hurt makoto, but what he doesn't realize is that he hurt makoto by doing that. makoto is now dealing with the loss of his lover, manipulation and betrayal from a person he thought he could trust, and JUST being r*ped.... it's a lot and he did nothing to deserve what he got. he dealt with the situation like anyone would. he was told he had "cheated" on yuma but he really didn't, but because makoto loves yuma so much he ended up believing it and feels extremely guilty for it (once again, even though. it wasn't his fault!) that's why he started to cry. he couldn't tell yuma because of one) the trauma from being r*ped and two) his guilt from being raped, the manipulation he endured (now thinking it's his fault, that he cheated on yuma, etc) so no, it is not makoto's fault. yuma is an absolute scumbag for leaving makoto in such a fragile state. i will continue to read this because i hope the misunderstanding will be cleared up soon but i absolutely hate when miscommunications likes these in mangas happen because it's just so fucking toxic! i'm mad at yuma goodnight
