Not sure why mangago cut off my comment but was saying that while there's still issues I have with this (like how tf you cool with dating your dog, even if he's human now?), I really respect the creator for not just opting for the "reveal some random backstory to 'justify' the mainlead picking the first guy" route that sooo many go for, and instead having the main lead break up with him.
