Don't worry, you're not the only one who feels this way. I feel like the Hori we met at the beginning of the series is completely different to the one the author writes about in the end. I had to quit reading the manga around chapter 120 cause I kept getting so upset at Hori's actions. I'm glad that the anime kinda cuts out most of her toxic behavior out. At the same time though I feel like it's making the fans of the anime attack the people who have actually read the manga and state an opinion about not agreeing with her character development (or lack thereof).
I kinda agree with you but I mean it’s really pleasant to see woman dominate in a cliché shojo we can all agree that we are fed up with toxic men in shojos but we read them anyway so why not change the roles (even if it's still toxic and indeed it would be better shojo without toxicity at all) ┗( T﹏T )┛
i’m not sure what to think. hori is getting annoying, i thought her little masochist side was funny at first because i’m a masochist myself but it got kind of annoying. she is possessive & abusive towards him just to get pleasure when he “reacts”. i bet if the roles were switched & miya was hitting her just to get her riled up, y’all wouldn’t like this relationship, all up calling it toxic & shit but no, y’all don’t say nothing cause it’s “cute”.
