the worm thingy released a smoke that turns any eldian descendant into a pure titan, and because jean and connie inhaled it they were gonna be turned into pure titans
falco and pieck are titan shifters already so it doesn’t affect them, and neither does it affect ackermans, which is why they needed to get to a safe place, or they would be attacked by the pure titans
How did they all turn into Titans and why did Falco’s scream turn them into titans. Why would he do that?
