If youre talking abt action/adventure type of genre, i do agree. It kinda annoy me when the mc's partner shows up and be a burden to the mc for example when in fighting scene, the partner shows up and now the mc have to worry about defeating the enemy and the partner's safety but i guess i just dislike knowing that the partner is the mc's weaknesses (￣∇￣")
Yeah, I like it too when the mc stays single for his/her journey cuz sometimes when mc have a lover on his journey or smth his training is always interfered by them or like they always complain on what they are eating, and there is this Chinese cultivation manhua where the girl keep pestering the mc and always bragging on how she is stronger than the mc when she doesn't even see his strenght yet (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ that's why sometimes when I'm reading Chinese cultivation manhua, manwha, manga I prefer it if the mc is alone in his/her journey.

Yep. I wish the authors will listen to our suggestion. It would be really nice if our main character can have a solo adventure.
I would rather want an mc who stays single for the rest of his/her journey or like the romance happens when its ending... yep.like.that what do you think?
