It won’t be pedophilia if they wait till he’s legal to do anything remotely romantic. But it’s still weird, in my opinion you shouldn’t date someone who saw you go through puberty and turn into an adult. That means they had romantic interests towards you while you were still a child and they were an adult. (I personally feel like they’re letting this slide because the MC is a girl.) I hope this story continues into a platonic brother sister dynamic. But I don’t think that’s gonna happen;-;
I agree with what @Tasha was saying. If they wait until both are of legal age it isn't weird, but it's still kinda weird (in my opinion) since the maid would have known him since literal childhood.
For a hypothetical real world examples, I probably wouldn't think too much of a 28yo marrying a 40yo. But if I then also knew that that 40yo was the 28yo's teacher in high school, I would find that a little weird even if they had waited to be romantically involved until after the younger's graduation.
Compared to that hypothetical, where they knew each other when the youngest was like 16~18, our maid knew the young master when he was like 8~10 (i don't remember his exact age but I guess around there, 12 at oldest)
If everyone is above the age of consent and they do consent then I don't care who gets freaky.
What about umm childhood friends? Like age gap is still 5 years but they are childhood friends. They are of the same generation and all. So is it still weird if they end up together once they are adults?
