I thought it was super cute when I was watching it. But I haven't caught up with any of the "newer" episodes. Mainly because I thought there were other anime that deserved my time more? So it's not like I didn't like it, it's just those type of anime you watch when you really don't have anything else to watch lol. So no, it's not worth watching if you get bored easily.
I tend to stay away from romance anime for the same reason. (annoying, useless, and stupid MCs) I haven't watched Fruit Baskets but if it has a generic annoying MC I wouldn't watch it. (you do you though, you never know). A quick tip I use for getting through romance animes with raggedy MCs is to change the perspective, instead of viewing it as a romance I just see it as a comedy. (Diabolik Lovers in dubbed and as a comedy is pure gold) Hope this helped in some way ╮(￣▽￣)╭
not a manga question, but is the fruits basket anime (the revamped version) worth watching? I’ve been wanting to watch more shoujo romance anime but I’m kinda picky with them, especially how the mc is. ik tohru is one of those airhead mcs and those are the kinda mcs that lowkey annoy me so I’m kinda hesitant abt starting it. like I personally did not enjoy popular shoujos like kamisama kiss bc I got too annoyed by nanami so I’m scared that it’s gonna be similar to fruits basket. for reference, some of my fav high school shoujos include kare kano, kimi ni todoke, and horimiya. anyways pls give your thoughts lol (▰˘◡˘▰)
