I don’t really like it either but it's not Stockholm syndrome, the mc was not a captive and could have left at any point I mean near the end he made the other guy leave. Plus with the fact it’s an omega verse u could argue what happened actually makes sense since u could say their desire for each other was just fuelled by the chemicals in their brain.
