I was surprised too, like wth, how can u so easily kill your own son?! But I'm pretty sure execution was somewhat normal and she did say that she completley gave up on him after finding out he killed people she lived to protect. I mean did u not read the chapter no offense, she basically said she gave up on him after everything he did and still didn’t change, before he would be able to get away with it but this time, he touched someone he shouldn’t have, so even if she didn’t want him dead or whatever, she wouldn’t have much of a choice
