I see where you’re coming from but when you have a child, you definitely have to try and have full conversations with them because they are a person, no matter the age. It’s not healthy to baby-talk them plus he’s a little boy, he’s not going to be like that forever

First was cute. And the kid had way too high of cognitive abilities for his age. Maybe if he were like 10 but he looks like he's 3. Agreed with what someone else said. Dad should have a convo with him about different types of love and boundaries. When he gets to be an adult, he's going to think he has power over his dad's relationships. His behavior is not the problem since he's a kid right now. It's his mentality and the fact that no one corrected him. Sorry for the long text, I watched Smothered and am taking it too seriously lol.
