NO I don't think that it is a good idea that it would have a lesbian ending. It is normal to have a real close relationship with two girls like they treat each other as real sisters. That kind of relationship is good and I think that It is what Kanoko and Momo is showing. Just a pure sister relationship and nothing romantic.
For Kanoko, I prefer her to feel some romantic feelings to either tsubaki or the president ( well, I prefer it to be tsubaki). It would help her to grow as a person and she would understand more about the people around her if she too gains some experience on love. Also, Tshubaki would be patheric if Kanoko ends up to be in a lesbian relationship. Because he already loves her since before they became high school students. The plot/message of the story, I think, wouldbe destroyed if Kanoko does not end up having a love life.
Haha you're right there. Though I don't even particularly like girls love, I just can't help but wonder. Specially since I don't feel any inkling of romantic feelings from Kanoko to either of the two guys. I feel like her relationship with Tsubaki is even more friendship-ish than hers with Momo lol. It just hits me when Momo said she'll protect Kanoko anyway even though she chould never be her prince. That, to me, is a high degree of affection.
Spoiler
I am not sure myself. I only have time to read the last few pages. But when Tsubaki confessed again, I think it really moved her. I guess Kanoko did not imagine Tsubaki to feel that dep about her. Also when she thought about it, she seems to realised she also want to stay by his side, as a friend, classmates, etc. What Momo told her in the recent chapter really made her think about what she wants.
This is the first time I thought a lesbian ending would be good in a non shoujo-ai manga. Kanoko and Momo are just meant for each other ugh.
