Because the uke wanted to break up (He was ready to die in his mission). If they knew they were from the same organization, none of this would be necessary. Their identities are reveled after the uke fail in killing his target again. He will be captured by the Templars and taken to a cell in the basement or something like that... the seme will be in the next cell 'cause his mission failed was well.

What the-.. how on earth do they not know each other’s identity? Lmao, the seme seems like he knows smthg, why didnt he tell him? XD

Seems like not everyone know each other there and the seme is like a spy, so it makes sense. They knew each other codenames (Sniper and Shadow), but that was all. And I think ML was undercover in the enemies side.

About ML working undercover... that part was a little difficult to understand. MTLing Korean to english is hard, but to Portuguese (my mother language) is worse. It seems like he was exposed, that is why he was in a cell. The seme is sus, but he never suspected anything. He was thinking the uke wanted to break up because he had another lover. Besides, he has an other big secret, don't expect him to act like a normal human being.

Hahah, that was my reaction. I wasn't expecting any of this when I started the webtoon, and then magic appeared.Σ(°△°|||)︴

(Now even more looking forward to the next season. After the description that was given about dragons I am curious about how they are going to draw that.)

Of course, don't take everything exactly like I said to the heart since MTL can be quite misleading.
