What did you guys thought about Yaoi/BL before you got into it? Or like LGBT community in general?

My parents told me it was bad so of course I thought it was bad but they didn't explain properly so I basically had no idea what counts as LGBT back then

what??? do you mean that you used to think that way (that it isn’t “morally right” to be gay) or now you’re still being homophobic??

I was never against LGBT community and I have close friends that were part of it but I was never interested in reading BL stories before specially yaoi. Not until I accidentally stumbled upon a certain shounen ai anime that flicked my interest two years ago, found out that it has a manga version and... yeah so here I am haha

ah okay!! sorry if it came off as aggressive (˘ε˘ƪ) but rest assured, there’s no moral to what is human nature—there’s no binary distinction nor a spectrum. people can’t classify existing.

pride marches are basically to celebrate queer existence! being proud of ourselves as queer people despite the virulent hatred from society, demonstrations (to campaign) for legal rights, and just enjoying the moment—self-acceptance, being with our queer comrades etc.
