mildred actually presented ashley first because she wants ashley to meet the crown prince since this whole story is based on a novel she read so she wants it to go according to the story plot and not change anything but little did mildred know that the crown prince was lucas the boy with the duke and that lucas fell inlove with the eldest daughter instead of ashley
but i do understand what you mean by pushing the eldest away.she shouldve presented them all together and let it go with the flow if ashley was actually fated to be with the prince （￣へ￣）
im pretty sure she is just assuming that ashley is cinderella even tho she’s not. cos clearly cinderella was competent and ashley right now, not so much ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
But even she said and questioned herself in earlier chapters whether if she was in the book she was reading. Either way my heart feels for her other daughters. By doing what she did she is slowly driving a wedge between the girls.
thats definitely true she should let them find their own happiness instead if trying to be cupid(〜￣△￣)〜
I love this story I really do but she needs to learn how to focus on all three girls. I get Ashley her step daughter and she wants her to feel love but pushing her own daughters off to the side just to appease Ashley will only bring that heartache which she was avoiding for Ashley to her own daughters. My heart aches for Iris and Lilly.
