i never liked her even before i read the novel. she's just so wrapped up in her own world that she fails to consider what's actually happening around her. and i find that really annoying

I don’t like janette Bc in the novel she was a little bitch, she never once stood up for our athy and the thing is that daddy claude wanted to spend time with both his daughters but janette was always there tell him “oh she’s fine” or “no let’s do this instead” while slowly killing him, and when athy was framed for poisoning janette knew her “sister” didn’t do it but she still let her take the fall that ended with athy being executed... so I’m sorry but I hold no sympathy for such a naive character
