The other work of this author "rumspringa" is happening in 1980x where one of the Amish characters said something like ~i still have Gene with me~~ , so there's a chance that he'll be alive (for ten years at least heh), or maybe he returned to his hometown.

i hate it so bad because they make sense but i dont want it to make sense huhu a slight hope that he's alive is all i want but there isnt any and im just crying rn ╥﹏╥ they deserve so much better xc
