I think I'm just looking for that cliche part since trauma was involved in this story and that's how the characters usually deal with the trauma when they're in love.

With a hint of action and complication, like a part where reese overcome his trauma coz he managed to save jimmy from the same scenario where his partner died. Like jimmy would be his redemption, since he manage to save someone important to him that he failed to do before.
But this is fluffy good already so(▰˘◡˘▰)
