I feel like the prince knows, somehow, that he's being targeted by all these princesses for a kiss specifically. It just seems like he's playing the flirt role to keep them thinking they're doing fine while he figures out how to turn the table on all of them. Or maybe he's fine with this method of finding his princess? Idk, I just feel like he has to be aware of the game that's being played around him.
