in ch 45 xixi said that jia yi disappeared in 2nd day of high school and when he came back xixi was already in university ch48, from ch50 till now is a flachback when they were in last year of middle school before jian yi disappearance , so actually we did not reach the plot yet.

the xmas special chapters (ch224,271 and 313) you can see that they are old (jian yi can drink, MO is living alone, already has the guitar that Hetian gave it to him in the recent chapter and has another piercing that you can't see in the current time line) so this is the future

I cant get over the fact that they’re in middle school.... they don’t act or look like it I was suprised when I found out
(HSIXJS YALL DIDNT KNOW EITHER?? Remember there was that one line where the one guy talked about going to high school and then college together? This means they are not in either of these. There was also when the one guy was confused that his hurt, and it was as if he didn’t even know what it meant to get hard, and he asked if this was normal.... high schoolers know this stuff... though I have no clue how much time passes throughout the story so maybe by the end they are older??? Does someone know for sure? Other people also said they were in MS not just basing what I said off those pieces in the story haha)
