Difference is that eventualllyyyyy when they get together it most likely won’t be as satisfying or *graphic* as I would have hoped so that’s on me lol (I’m not saying this comic needs all the graphic yaoi in it, it’s perfectly fine without it but personally slow burn shounen ai is more of a pain in the ass (ha!) because you sit through 50 chapters just to get to the part where they touch lips for like 0.5 seconds- and that’s censored too. Just from personal experience I find reading slow burn yaoi a lot more satisfying (one really good example of this is King’s Maker, since there’s both yaoi and shounen ai versions. Most people tended to say they found the yaoi version more satisfying not just because of the graphics but that it showed another side of the uke.
