I'm afraid that is how real world seem to work, I knew someone who's boyfriend kill himself because she left him and it seem that he fell into a depressive state so he left a note saying that it was her fault, the parents of the boy went to her house and scream at her on how she made their son take his life and that she should pay the same price and things like that, they even when paint the front of her house white some disgusting thing like "murderer" and so on.
Even girls and boy at her college where like that to, what they didn't knew it that he was actually very abusive to the point that she would take the blame to sease his anger, he make feel worthless and bad with herself for not being the woman he desire, then she come to a group of counseling for woman who had been abused in anyway ( where I work as a volunteer) and when she finally understood that she didn't have to take his crap and decide to leave him, he took his life and everybody was blaming her for that, she needed a lot of therapy to understand it wasn't her fault, but that still took a toll on her mental health.

But unlike our protagonist she was able to get away from it with the help of her family and friends as well as her therapist and consultants, but there are many people that just can forget that you wouldn't believe how many funeral I have attended of people from the group that just could get out of it and give in thanks to the pressure of the people around them. People are the scariest thing in the world.

Also leet me tell you there are people that don't feel any remorse for anything the have done or say and they seem happy with it, it just disgusting I still don't understand how they come to thing they have the right to push a person to the point they end their lives and still think they are not murderers just because they didn't kill them.

I am so glad that she overcome it.
