Another refreshing manga series that is hilarious, moving, and inspiring with its memorable cast of characters who all go through top-notch character development. Unprecedented plot events have a delightful affect throughout reading experience.
The 24 episode anime adaptation is recommended.
Professional English translations began releasing in print and digital editions in July 2016.
World Trigger is an unappreciated series. More people should know about World Trigger! It has a widely appealing but more down-to-reality story with unconventional introverted protagonists.
The anime adaptation recommended for all ages.
Continuing professional English releases available in print and digital formats.
A refreshing action-comedy series that breaks typical scenarios and paradigms of the genre. The protagonist is truly a woman. Yet, she is constantly mistaken for a male. The cast is made primarily of working adults and their world, not high schoolers and their high school lives (even though the protagonist is a high school class president).
Watching the 12 episode anime adaptation is recommended.
Professional English translations are currently being issued in both print and digital formats.
A visually stylish and smart blend of multiple genres set in 19th century Victorian England mark this funny and exciting series. Events that happen are morally gray. Yet, that has been playing a large part to the story and protagonists' hooking intrigue.
Professional English translations have been released in print and digital formats by Yen Press. I personally recommend watching the anime adaptation--especially the third season, Book of Circus.
Anime adaptation coming soon!!
Taking elements from fantasy immersion gaming worlds like Sword Art Online, Log Horizon, and Overlord, Rise of the Shield Hero hooks you through the set-up, betrayal, and ostracization of protagonist made out to be a villain. Illustrations are beautiful. The forging of this shield hero protagonist is quite interesting to watch as he must process his anger, rage, betrayal, and the misunderstandings of the public.
An action packed parody of the superhero genre. Onepunch-Man was originally a successful (though poorly drawn) web comic. Anyone who grew up with superheroes will roll on the floor with laughter.
Professional English translations are being published. Available in bookstores and online. The anime adaptation is highly recommended.
A great idea showcased in the title itself: Devils and Realist. Prepare for a comedic ride into the fantasy world of devil and angel mythology in the midst of Victorian era England. The story and its characters truly evolve as the series progresses. "[Demons] that are more human than humans, and more merciful than angels."
The 12-episode anime adaptation is recommended if you like the story.
Continuing professional English releases are available in print and digital formats.
Another fantastical, fun story from Shiho. Her signature comedy, beautiful-boy cast, and pleasing artwork that has refined itself since her first manga serialization, "The Ice-Cold Demon's Tale"/"Koori No Mamono No Monogatari".
A title from Korea that is a good story all around. The artwork may not meet the standards of mainstream works from Japan. Nevertheless, it is easy to read. A comedic fantasy/action title that ultimately explores the origins of magic in the world and the Black Magician's role in it all.
