A darker, grittier story about two police detectives. Takahashi's gorgeously vivid artstyle and the drama storyline is what makes this series appealing.
A slowburn with a much heavier focus on slice-of-life/comedy than romance. What stood out were the wide range of established supporting characters. which brought the day-to-day interactions to life. I loved the action subplot and dynamic fight scenes combined with Old Xian's beautiful art.
Jian Yi and Zhan Zheng 's relationship was especially fun to watch, and their deep trust, love and respect for each other was very emotional at times!
