This hurt me. It isn't long, but what is there will make you depressed for the rest of the day. It does end happily- so much that I was crying happy tears, but that doesn't erase my sad tears before that.
This story surprised me. Thought it was going to be mostly smut, but the plot is actually really good. Shiwoo's character breaks my heart. With everything he's been through, it just seems like he can never catch a break. I was afraid that he and Yujin might never get together properly, but Shiwoo finally starts to depend on him. It was a struggle to get to their little happy ending, but they got there, and that's what matters.
This may have to do a lot with sex, but it is definitely dramatic. You can't really blame Jung-wook for how he treats Jae-won because of what happened in the past. But when you see how much Jae-won did and continues to suffer, you're just left with all these conflicting emotions and end up begging the characters to just talk it out instead of having sex again.
So the beginning of this is unsettling. I feel like there were multiple ways for Yuzurihara to approach Yunoki about his issue, and the way he chose was a bit too far. Despite the description this manga is not what you think it is, and I highly recommend reading all the way through. This will definitely pull at your heartstrings, but it leaves you feeling relieved for the characters.
This was A LOT. This tackles so many issues. Mainly homophobia and racism. I stand by the statement that this is a masterpiece. Conor and Simon's story is so passionate and so beautiful. It does end happily, but the times that I had to pause reading because of how close I was to sobbing uncontrollably would have made anyone watching think I was reading a Greek tragedy. This is a beautiful work that has to be known.
I was not expecting to have my heart ripped out of my chest while reading this manga, but that's what happened. My entire left side hurt while getting through this story, but the journey was well worth the pain when we finally got to the destination. Kedama is a precious ball of fluff and Chigusa is so wholesome and dedicated to his hairball. I would recommend this manga to anyone looking for a painfully beautiful ride in a heartbeat.
Read this because it has the same author as How to Chase an Alpha, but it is significantly different. The art isn't the only thing that's dark about this manhwa. I thought that is was a very interesting plot regardless. If you're looking for a concrete and tangible ending, however, this story isn't for you. The ending is ambiguous, but I thought that that was the only way the author could end it while doing the story and theme justice. Beautiful piece of work.
This story really didn't have to hurt me the way it did. It may be short, but it's a real tear-jerker. Very beautiful story.
I thought I was going to be putting this in my short and sweet category based on the summary and length, but I was not expecting this manga to attack my heart the way it did. This was BEAUTIFUL. An absolute masterpiece. I was so incredibly moved by the direction of the story and the relationship between the characters. Hands down, one of the best stories I've ever had the pleasure of reading.
