Compared to other characters in the manga, Noriko is very much physically and emotionally weak. She needs to be saved all the time and she burst into tears easily. She does not make any important decisions, that is awe-worthy, throughout the novel. But what I love about her is that she is aware of mediocrity. Despite her incapability, and despite her fears, she faces things. Sometimes, she brings interesting perspectives that awaken other characters.
