Refreshing in the sense that I was able to get emotionally invested in the characters.
Read the one shots before from Gesu BL and Shoujo C.
This is refreshing as in it doesn't really have romance or any of that. The mc has so many issues, and the story is told from several POV's
cover art is misleading. I thought it will have bad art, but the art is very polished and nice.
The stories are really good, too. The main couple was very entertaining. The uke is so confident and mature. I liked how straight-forward he is. There wasn't any stupid melodramatic misunderstandings. They were acting very mature, and I felt the way they fell in love was natural.
The storytelling is slightly weird, but the way they fight, interact, etc, made me feel like they were real people talking, and not manga characters
it is super fluffy.... pun unapologetically intended.
Srsly, their relationship is so sweet, despite it feeling slightly surreal to me.
Instead of taking the self-destructing route and going Harada-style, the characters all kept their personalities. The heartbreaks/traumas affect characters differently in this manga.
Also, don't wanna say anything, but Ryou is an angel js
It has domestic abuse and moving on. I liked it, it felt really sad tbh.
This isn't just any "yaoi". It is a collection of stories. The first story is the best in my opinion. The middle east wasn't just some faraway exotic land. It was actually really good... Really. Read it for the plot
teenage struggles. They all felt very human.
