☆ 5/5
[18+, drama, pornography, romance, western country]
TW: rape, debt, boss-employee relationship
+ Amazing progression
+ Accurately displays the difficulties in overcoming a toxic relationship
+ Realistic & beautifully written
+ The angst is something else
One of the greatest masterpieces I've ever read. It's alarming how well certain topics are handles by the characters and Jaxx themselves, especially rape within and outside the porn industry.
☆ 3.5/5
[18+, drama, romance, slice of life]
TW: gore, rape, drugs, suicide attempt
+ Slow Paced
+ Barely any character development
+ Insufferable MC
+ Cried out of frustration
This genuinely had a lot of potential, but it got fucked over by the messy plot. Also by making it seem like a script play, it ruined the flow of the story. The MC is also frustrating to deal with– he needs to realise that people are not black-and-white.
☆ 5/5
[18+, drama, romance, mature, revenge]
TW: dub/non-con, boss-employee relationship
+ Next-level angst
+ Perfectly progressed
+ Well-written
Another mind-blowing masterpiece. Brothers Without a Tomorrow really out-did themselves with this story. The art, the story, the plot... it was all so well put together that it's impossible to find any faults. The pain the characters suffered made me feel as if I was going to die, and the ending exceeded my expectations.
☆ 5/5
[18+, drama, romance, slice of life]
TW: suicide, self-harm, depression
+ Beautiful art style
+ Amazing character development
+ Well-written backstories
+ Progression is perfect
Overlooking the insane amounts of 2nd-hand embarrassment, this is honestly one of the best stories I've ever read. The development of the characters and their relationships was a joy to experience. It's unique, heart-breaking, comedic, and realistic. It was just beautiful.
☆ 5/5
[18+, drama, romance, tragedy]
TW: rape, pedophillia, religion
+ Angsty
+ Beautifully written
+ Beautiful artstyle
I have no words... this will forever be an unforgettable experience.
The ending made me ugly cry.
